Hello neighbors! The Central Park West had a busy May – we had our annual volunteer event in Central Park, and our first fundraiser of the year.
Central Park Clean Up
On Saturday May 10, we gathered with many other neighbors across Old Louisville to work on cleaning up Central Park for the summer season. Members and residents of Central Park West focused on the pathway that borders the park and Sixth street. Duties included raking leaves, digging out extra dirt, weeding the bricks, getting rid of invasive species on the berm, and cutting back foliage from the path. We had an amazing turnout of over a dozen neighbors! Thank you for helping us make our park look beautiful.

Central Park West Fundraiser – The Crashers!
Rain and storms didn’t keep us from having a good time and raising money for the neighborhood association. While the original concert on Friday was rained out, it got rescheduled to Sunday the 18th, and crowds of people came out. Thank you to our volunteers to helped sell beverages and the neighbors who came by to support us and have a good time! The funds raised during this event help us to continue making our neighborhood beautiful and supporting more neighborhood events.

Thanks for making these events a success.
