Happy Friday!
Just wanted to make a quick post with a couple of neighborhood news updates.
The sidewalk restoration project along 6th street will sadly not be completed before the Art Show. The paving bricks will not be available from the vendor in time for the work to be complete until after the first week of October.
Also, wanted to thank all of the folks who volunteered in the planning and execution of our fundraiser during Jazz in Central Park on 8/26/18. We had good weather and a good crowd in the park, and CPW’s net profit for the event was $1585. Not bad at all for four hours of work!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend and I encourage you all to sign up for volunteer slots for the Cafe fundraiser during the Art Show if you have not done so already. It’s a little work, but we have a lot of fun during the event. If you’ve never volunteered, its a great way to meet your neighbors and make new friends!
